Thank you, Alexandra!
1. Where did you grow up? Is Georgia your home state?

No, I’m actually from Illinois. I grew up on the outskirts of Ottawa, the site of the first Lincoln-Douglas debates of 1858. About seventeen years ago, my husband’s job brought us down to Georgia. Although the job didn’t last, we fell in love with north Georgia and decided to stay.
2. I’ve always wanted to visit Georgia. What would be, in your opinion, the must-sees if I were to travel there?

If you’re a history buff, I would recommend the Atlanta History Center, which includes one of the largest Civil War exhibitions in the country. Other great places in the area are Margaret Mitchell’s Tudor Revival mansion and Martin Luther King Jr. center. For the family, the must-see stops are the Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Zoo Atlanta, the High Museum of Art, CNN center, and the World of Coca-Cola. And that’s just sites in Atlanta!
3. Tell us about your family. I believe you have 3 children. Tots, teens? Boys, girls?

I met my husband while I was attending Illinois State University. He claims it was love at first sight, but it took him six months to work up the courage to ask me out. On May 21st, we will be celebrating our twenty-second wedding anniversary. We have three wonderful teenagers. Jessica is nineteen, Cameron, sixteen, and Cassie is thirteen.
4. When did you decide you wanted to become an author?

I started writing stories when I was a teenager. I didn’t seriously entertain the idea of writing a book until I became a stay-at-home mom in the early nineties. For a long time, I viewed my writing simply as a creative outlet. However, as I began to perfect my craft and learned more about the publishing industry, I knew that I wanted to take that next step. I wanted to get my manuscript published.
5. What are you doing when you aren’t writing?

When I’m not writing, I’m usually enjoying my family. I’m also a voracious reader. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t have my nose in a book.
6. You have just begun you Lords of Vice series. How many Lords will we have the pleasure of meeting?

My original goal was to write seven books. My current contract with St. Martin’s Press covers the first three books in the series: Sin, Reign, and Dare’s stories. If the series does well, I’m optimistic that the remaining books will be picked up.
7. Should the series be read in order or are the books from more of a ‘stand alone’ aspect?

I’ve written each book so it can be enjoyed as a “stand alone”. However, like with most series, it’s best to read the books in order.
8. Tell us about the first book in the series, which is available now, ALL NIGHT WITH A ROGUE, and the second book coming out in August, TILL DAWN WITH THE DEVIL?

Lord Sinclair—or Sin—kicks off the Lords of Vice series. A jaded womanizer, Sin believes he has seen and done it all until he encounters a mysterious woman in a moonlit garden. Family loyalties and personal prejudices are put to the test when Lady Juliana decides to risk her heart on the jaded rogue.
TILL DAWN WITH THE DEVIL is Lord Rainecourt’s aka Reign’s story. After his disastrous first marriage, Reign has given up on love and is content to revel in his notoriety—that is, until he meets Lady Sophia one evening. Connected by a tragic past, neither Reign nor Lady Sophia is looking for love. However, when a crisis pushes the couple together, they have to face their own fears and an enemy of the past to find their happily-ever-after.
