Your new book is IMMORTAL RIDER. Can you tell us about it.
IMMORTAL RIDER is the second book in the Lords of Deliverance series, a spinoff of the Demonica series. The four books of the LOD series are about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (hence, four books, heh.) In IMMORTAL RIDER, Limos, the female third Horseman (Famine) is in a hell of a lot of trouble. Literally. She allowed Arik, a member of the US Army's paranormal unit (who you might know as Runa's brother from the Demonica series), to kiss her, which triggered her fiance's wrath. Her fiance happens to be the devil himself, and now she's got to rescue Arik from hell, prevent her Seal from being broken, and pretty much save the world as we know it. Yeah, that's a hell of a checklist.
Where did you get the idea for this series?
I've always been fascinated by the Horsemen mythology, so when I was plotting the Demonica series, the opportunity to introduce them presented itself, and the LOD series was born!
Of all your books, which one stands out for you the most?
I'd have to say PASSION UNLEASHED. I just really loved delving into Wraith (half vampire, half incubus) and his complex (and somehow simple) mind. His book really came together well. I have to say though, that IMMORTAL RIDER is a close second. I LOVED writing Arik, who is probably my most gentle male, while still being very alpha and capable of protecting his loved ones.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Free time? Oh, that's funny! :) I don't have much of it, but when I do have some, I love to play RPG video games of the Dungeons & Dragons sort. I can lose days at a time playing them. I also read, watch movies, and, when possible, go bowling with the family.
What's next for you? What are you working on now?
I'm actually working on revisions to LETHAL RIDERS, the third book in the Lords of Deliverance series. Then I need to finish the fourth book, ROGUE RIDER (title may change.) After that, I've got a bit of a secret project to get finished, and then it's on to Reaver's book, which I'm VERY excited about!
