Eleanor ingen Alexander goes to the devil himself to get away from an unwanted marriage. She was told to go to Ewan MacAllister for aid to reach London. He is a loner, living in a cave drinking himself into a stupor over the death of his brother Kieran.

On the anniversary of the day that Eleanor comes to ask him to help her, is the same day that he ran away with the woman Kieran loved and caused his brother to commit suicide. She had also asked him to take her to London.

Ewan has lived alone in this quiet cave and does not know what to do with this woman who talks consantly.

In TAMING THE SCOTSMAN, Kinley MacGregor once again takes us across medieval Scotland in the continuing saga of the MacAllister brothers. She is a fantastic writer and brings life and humor to her stories. She pulls the reader in on the first page and never lets them go. I read it at one setting simply because I could not put it down. So thank you, Kinley MacGregor, for giving me a few hours of delight.
