Amber Toadvine called Ruth's son to tell him his mother was dying of cancer and only had a few days to live. It was the hardest call she had ever made. Not only had Ruth been her closest friend for the last ten years, but to have to talk to Craig after he had walked out on her on their wedding day was torture in itself.

Craig James responded immediately to the call and went to the hospital to be by his mother's side. He felt guilty for not keeping closer touch with her, and hated himself for not being there for her. Even though he was crushed by Amber's betrayal on their wedding day, he still should have kept in closer contact with his mother. Before she died she told him to find out the truth about Amber and try to make up. He realized he was still in love with Amber, and gradually found out the truth about that day ten years ago.

In ALL I EVER WANTED, by Erin Moore, a mystery evolves of scary proportions. The romance between the two protagonists moves the reader in many ways. To have their love buried for ten years, and then return, moves the reader from the very first page. This is a heart-wrenching story of true love wherein Ms. Moore does an excellent job of showing the emotions of the two strong characters. As their past heals, so does the plot of the story unfold to find a crazy man wanting Amber's death. I would recommend this author to anyone that likes a good mystery and romance combined.
