I've got two words to say right off about LOVE'S BEWITCHING THIEF: Sizzlin' Fun!

I'll be honest, I'm not big on sci-fi or futuristic romance, but I have to tell you, this is the most fun I've had reading a story of this genre that I can remember. Just take the movies The Terminator, Star Trek, Enemy Mine, mix with a little Indiana Jones, and throw in some of the best sexual tension between two characters you've ever read, and the mayhem that results is simply sheer delight.

When Lysie and Marten first meet, it's more than just sparks that fly. As the two dance and spar with some of the snappiest, wittiest and downright entertaining dialogue I've read in a long time, the sexual tension burns between them like a bonfire fed with endless kindling. They smolder, they glow – they downright sizzle, singeing the reader right along with them.

LOVE'S BEWITCHING THIEF is a fun and fanciful adventure, filled with alien worlds and beings, and a plot that "takes you where no reader has gone before." How amazing that a writer could create such a sparky, snazzy and red-hot female character using a cat as a model. Lysie has all the right feline moves in everything she does, right down to her sensual and sassy personality.

There is so much going on in this story that it's nearly impossible for me to synop. From our sexy little thief Lysie running from not just one, but two adversaries (three if you count her cat-and-mouse games with Marten); Marten and his attempts to quash his overdriven sexuality, which is nearly impossible (it's his natural persona - he's oversexed and simply irresistable); plenty of narrow escapes, crashlandings and . . .Well, there's just too much non-stop action, fast pacing, and romance to fit it all in.

No surprise then, that I give this ebook Top Pick honors. It was fun, it was fast and furious, and simply "out of this world." Thank you, Angela Verdenius, for treating me to such an original and well-written romance. I had a great time!
