Flame by Erin Moore

Michelle Lawson runs into her high school best friend Darin Greene. Hanging out with Darin is everything Michelle remembers it used to be, except now she’s falling in love with him, but Darin is commitment shy and Michelle knows that if she confesses her feelings she could lose him.

But when a stalker targets Michelle, Darin vows to protect her. Can Darin save her from the threat on her life, or will his fear of getting close to her keep him from seeing the truth?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:4 Rose Read

FLAME was a nice steamy romance with characters that really got under my skin!

Darin acts like a complete idiot who finally comes to his senses at the end of this book and tells Flame that he loves her. Moore did a great job creating Darin’s character—as mad as he kept making me, I still wanted Darin to end up with Flame because I knew he would make her happy. Flame is a wonderful heroine—she takes charge of every aspect of her life from how she dresses to how she makes love. Moore really captured the essence of a woman scorned—all of the females in this book are very relatable and women you don’t want to make mad.

And I was really glad that {{Spoiler...I'm not naming names *G*}} turned out to be the stalker at the end of the book because I loved hating her!
