LETTERS FROM THE HEART is a grown-up romance full of emotion, both the good and the bad kind. There were times, I admit, I got a little misty. The story is all about past hurts and accusations that need solving like most of us have in our lives. Anita Whiting writes about all of these emotions with a deft touch, and gives us a lot of intrigue, too. LETTERS FROM THE HEART isn't a large novel, but it feels and reads like a family saga with a sad little secret just below its surface—and just a bit of witchcraft to save the day, when a good woman's man is threatened by someone whose call name rhymes with "witch."
