Stranger in Her Arms by Lorna Michaels

He Needed Her Help

When the doorbell rang in the middle of a devastating summer storm, Christy Matthews found a bruised, rain-battered stranger on her porch. While the wind howled, she tended to his injuries. Stranded with him in her island santuary, she found it impossible to ignore his rugged sensuality...and the growing desire to lose herelf in his embrace.

She Needed His Protection

No wallet. No driver's license. Not a clue to his identity. Yet this beautiful healing angel trusted him to keep her safe. With a killer on the loose, protecting Christy became his most vital mission, but the passion she awakened could thrust them both into harm's way. He had no memory of yesterday, but he'd risk everything to lie in her arms today, tomorrow, and always...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:Top Pick Award

Having never read a Lorna Michaels book before, I was very anxious to get started on this one. The back blurb was so interesting, I just knew that the story to follow would be great and I was not disappointed. Christy and Jonathan are two lost souls who are just perfect for each other from the word go.

Christy is a nurse just trying to get her life in order after her nasty divorce. So she decides to take a couple of weeks off and go to her parents beach house and make some decisions about her life. Well, all of that changes when Jonathan literally comes crashing through her door!

Jonathan has absolutely no memory of what brought him to be on the beach during a storm, or even of what his own name is. He walks up to Christy's house just wanting to use the phone so that he can get help of some sort, and ends up spending numerous days with her as the storm keeps them from going anywhere.

I cannot say enough about this book! Christy and Jonathan have a great relationship. I love how Jonathan is such a take charge kind of guy; and while Christy lets him take the lead, she is on no way weak. She can do just as much for herself as any woman can, and I think that in itself lends a nice quality to the book. She isn't the damsel in distress, and yet she knows that she needs Jonathan's help and willingly takes it. The trust that grows between them is great reading and made me not want the book to end. I wanted more of this great relationship that they had!!

Ms. Michaels is an excellent writer and knew exactly what to do to make this book shine. Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of this book, and sit down for a few hours of great reading!!
