Seldom have two people come from such different backgrounds—Jacey comes from a very well off and well known family, while Lucky is from the bayou and has spent most of his time on the wrong side of the tracks.

Brant has written an incredibly captivating and juicy romance that you simply cannot put down. Jacey is a very strong heroine with class, sophistication, beauty and brains. Lucky (in case I haven’t mentioned it already!) is sexy, charming, and completely irresistible. CLOSE TO THE EDGE has a great plot that will keep you guessing who has the dirt on whom. There is action, intrigue, and of course, some really great love scenes. This is a very enjoyable novel which I highly recommend.
