Phi Beta Bimbo by Trish Jensen

Who fares better in the workplace: the brassy bimbo or the plain Jane? Do blondes really have more fun? For her doctoral dissertation, sociologist—and lifelong nerd—Leah Smith intended to find out. Trading in her mousy brown hair and flat chest for bleached locks and gravity-defying cleavage, she planned a little experiment. And mile-high stilettos, a pump-up bra, and one very sexy—and very suspicious—company man weren't going to trip her up.

Security specialist Mark Colson had been hired to ferret out corporate spies, and the newest employee at Just Peachy Cosmetics was Suspect #1—posing as two different women, she was a total fake. Well, ditz or scholar, blonde or brunette, well-endowed or not, he would expose her. Except, she managed to stay one step ahead...until Mark realized to catch the brainy bombshell he'd have to reveal a few secrets of his own.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:4 Rose Read

Leah Smith is working on her doctorate in sociology and decides to perform an experiment for her dissertation, answering the age old question: Do blondes really have more fun? Of course, this scientific study will necessitate Leah altering her naturally brown hair and average B cup for bleach blonde and a magnificently large bosom.

Leah’s experiment makes for some hilarious scenes, especially when she must keep up her alter ego longer than she planned. Her experiment begins when she gets hired at Just Peachy Cosmetics—not only is the real Leah hired, but her alter-ego blonde bimbo, as well. Her experiment is almost busted by Mike Colson, a security specialist recently hired by the company. He’s handsome and smart, and is strangely attracted to the new employees at Just Peachy, the blonde and the brunet!

PHI BETA BIMBO is really funny with a great cast of characters. The story moves quickly and there is never a dull moment. I don’t want to give anything away, but I do want to say that Leah’s brother, Steve, is an interesting character who provides laughs and entertainment throughout the novel. You can't miss this one!
