If doing the right thing puts your life at risk . . . should you still do it?

Once a woman of wealth and privilege, Kate Whitehead now lives an ordinary life in an ordinary San Diego neighborhood as Tricia Campbell. Two years ago she escaped her powerful and abusive husband and became a different person. She disappeared for her own safety -- and that of her unborn child.

Tricia has found a measure of happiness with paramedic Scott McCall, although he knows nothing of her background, and they live as a family with her son. Then a newspaper article threatens her newfound life: her husband, Thomas, has been charged with her "murder." Tricia must make a difficult choice -- protect herself and let an innocent man go to jail, or do the right thing and save a man who could destroy everything.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:4 Rose Read

Tara Taylor Quinn has the rare and unique ability to write fiction that is both intriguing and authentic. HIDDEN, Quinn's latest novel, is a suspenseful thriller that depicts a middle class couple living a seemingly normal life. Except that, Scott McCall and Tricia Campbell's life is anything but ordinary. They are both hiding life-altering secrets from one another.

The characters in HIDDEN are so well-written they could be your neighbors. The main characters, McCall and Campbell, are dynamic and colorful. Campbell is the type of woman that people can relate to: A single mom trying to raise her son the best she can. She is courageous and fierce. The nemesis, Thomas Whitehead, is a vile villain that makes the husband in Sleeping With the Enemy look like a nice guy.

Once Campbell and McCall reveal their secrets, the story takes off like a roller coaster ride and does not stop until the end. You won't be able to put this book down until you find out what happens to these wonderful characters.
