Just Peachy by Jill Winters

When Peach Kelley sets up the office accountant on a blind date, she expects him to fall in love, or at the very least to thank her. She never expects him to disappear!

Joining forces with the new network administrator, Adam Quinlan, Peach digs around for answers. As danger mounts against them, so does desire. And for the first time ever, Peach may have gotten herself into a situation she can't get out of: falling in love...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Peach Kelley is pretty, artistic and just a little nosy. Sure, she means well, but more often than not she comes on a little strong. One of her favorite pastimes is analyzing what’s wrong with the lives of her friends, family, and coworkers. She loves giving advice and fixing people up on dates. As for Peach herself, she’s just fine with being single—until she meets the new guy at work, Adam Quinlan. He’s cute in that geeky sort of way, but is a little intimidated by Peach’s straightforward personality. No sooner has he met her, than she’s giving advice to his newly separated parents. Adam wants to be mad at Peach, but she’s just too cute and lovable to be mad at for long.

While Peach and Adam are getting to know one another better, something strange is going on in the office at the company they work for, Millennium Gift Basket. One of their coworkers has gone missing and there are too many unanswered questions and too much intrigue for Peach to just go on about her business. As Adam tries to keep Peach out of trouble they both get drawn in deeper and deeper. Adam does not want a serious relationship with Peach, but what can he do about the feelings he’s developing for her?

Peach and Adam are fun and very likeable characters. Peach is kind of flighty, but I couldn’t help but like her. Adam is pretty much the exact opposite of Peach—quiet and reserved. The plot is very interesting, and while I thought I had it figured out, I was surprised in the end! JUST PEACHY is lighthearted and entertaining.
