If it's fantasy you want, then it's all fantasy you'll get in the trilogy WINTER MOON. Inside WINTER MOON is a short story from Mercedes Lackey called Moontide. The Heart of the Moon is the second story by Tanith Lee. The third story in the trilogy is Banshee Cries, by C.E. Murphy.

Let me start off by just saying that I don't really read fantasy books, so I found the character's names and some of the places just hard to pronounce. It took away from the stories, for me, at least. That is the only bad thing I'll say about WINTER MOON. I'll have to warn you, though, that if it's romance that you're looking for, this book really isn't for you.

Although it's not romance filled, the stories are interesting and really well written. I've never read any of the authors in WINTER MOON, but after reading it, I think I may just go ahead and read some of the other books they've written. If you've read books by Mercedes Lackey, Tanith Lee and or C.E. Murphy, you'll definitely enjoy WINTER MOON.
