A Good Place to Land by Jaxine Daniels

In a blinding snow storm, wize-cracking Air Force Colonel Rick MacIntyre, crashes his Black Hawk. His lifeline, as he awaits his own rescue, is the voice of Lily Atherton. If he gets out of this alive, he wants to meet her. Thank her. Fall in love with her. Marry her.

But fairy tales like that don't happen. Or do they?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

A GOOD PLACE TO LAND has an interesting beginning and the plot is all right. Lily is likable and so is Rick. But, the story takes a long time to get somewhere. Maybe there are just too many stories in the story that I became side-tracked and, unfortunately, disinterested. And, I understand the way men have "bolder" language than women—especially military men—but this book is full of explicit deleted words. If you pink-up easily, this is not the book for you.
