In Pursuit of Love by Cyndi Whitten

Margie Walker's calamitous nature has kept her inheritance out of reach for the past six year. Now Uncle Bonny is threatening to hold back the endowment until she's thirty if Margie cannot curtail her adventurous spirit . and he has the power to do so!

Jack Ivan is a desperate man, a desperate man In Pursuit of Love. He'd chase Brittany across the globe to stop her from marrying Andrew McDonald. It is his only focus, his only desire.

When Jack's and Margie's worlds collide in a traffic mishap, it throws them into an adventure that Uncle Bonny would surely disapprove of; one that Margie would do anything to keep her uncle from finding out about, one that includes helping Jack stop Brittany's wedding, and one that gets very difficult to complete when she falls in love with Jack Ivan herself.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Now here's a story that's just downright fun! Filled with colorful characters and a dizzying array of madcap adventures, this non-stop romp reminds of a mix of the movies Romancing the Stone and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, only without everyone chasing after a treasure.

The bantering never lets up between the story's calamity causing heroine, Margie, and its antagonistic macho hero, Jack. Their accidental meeting is like mixing oil with water, and the events that follow result in some pretty comedic situations. While the action never lets ups, it's the witty dialogue and non-stop sparring between Margie and Jack that made my reading day. It's very well done, fits in with their characters, and had me chuckling out loud more times than I can count. Throw in a madcap assortment of secondary characters, the constant change of scenery and a plot that's more than what I'd call a bit "active", and the reader is in for one lively, fun-filled treat.

A quick read at 137 pages, this little gem of an ebook is well written, well plotted and to sum it all up, just very well done, period. I highly recommend it.
