RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Just in time for Valentine's Day, STUPID CUPID arrives on the shelf. The book is actually a trilogy of short stories by Rayka Mennen, Liz Hunter, and Phyllis Campbell.

Oops, by Mennen, is a cute story about a witch who's struck by a crazy spell that makes her incredibly clumsy. I enjoyed the plot and I also appreciated the whole atmosphere of the book. It was somehow warming and friendly. It intrigued me.

Dang Crooked Arrow is full of adventure with four children involved and full of misunderstandings where the hero and heroine are concerned. I did like the book, the writing was satisfactory, and the plot was charming. Still, it wasn't a "can't put it down" sort of read.

Surprisingly, Phyllis Campbell's story, Crazy Cupid, was my least favorite of the trilogy. Phyllis is one of my favorite e-book authors. However, I just couldn't wrap my interest around this story. It was simply implausible from the first scene onward and Kenya, the heroine, never seemed catch on quick enough for me and frustrated me.
