There is a simple reason why I love Vicki Lewis Thompson's Nerd series. They are all fabulous, every last one of them. No one can write like Vicki Lewis Thompson. All of her books are fresh and fun, have original plots and are jam packed with action!

Her newest offering, TALK NERDY TO ME, is about model Eve Dupree and hunk-o-rama Charlie Shepherd. I will take a moment right here to say that Charlie is truly Ms. Thompson's nerdiest nerd. He wears flannel, for goodness sakes! But, somehow it works. At first glance, a woman might disregard Charlie Shepherd because of his flannel shirts and his glasses, but underneath that nerdy exterior there is a hot, hot, hot man!

Eve needs help with her newest invention. When Charlie Shepherd acts the hero after an explosion in her garage, Eve decides to let him in on her little secret to see if he can help. Eve is a beautiful woman, but deep down inside she is just a nerdy woman who wants to be taken more seriously, like her sister. The chemistry between Even and Charlie is downright explosive and left me needing a breath of fresh air!

I don't know how she does it, but Ms. Thompson always makes the secondary characters in her books have a life all their own. They are some of the quirkiest people it has ever been my good fortune to meet. TALK NERDY TO ME is sexy and fun, and should absolutely not be missed.
