Good Girls Do by Cathie Linz

Sometimes what you've always wanted...
Julia Wright couldn't be more content with her job at the local library, nestled in placid, picturesque Serenity Falls. Until her wacky mother, petty-thief sister, and little niece "Toni the Biter" decide to crash her quiet party of one ...and a new guy roars into town on his Harley, shaking up more than just the books on her shelves.

...isn't what you really need.
Luke Maguire never thought he'd set foot back in the dull town where he'd spent his youth. But when his abusive father dies, he's forced to return and take care of the family bar. While trying to get the people of Serenity Falls to lighten up a little, he makes an unlikely alliance with a feisty librarian, whose pages he'd really like to turn. The battle lines are being drawn and Luke may have an uphill fight on his hands, but he's determined to come out on top, tempting this good girl to be very bad.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Cathie Linz has got a winning formula with GOOD GIRLS DO. It is witty, charming, sexy and a whole heck of a lot of fun.

Julia is content with her quiet little life as a librarian. She is pretty, smart and an extremely fun character. There is a little bit of all of us in Julia—the wannabe bad girl that talks to herself (in her head, of course) and can't believe that anyone would dare to try and shake up her comfy existence. Well, we all know what happens to the comfy characters in a romance novel. Someone roars into town to make our heroine sit up and take notice. That something just happens to be a hunk on a Harley that has all the right moves! Take notice, she does...and then some.

Luke is the every woman's dream and every mother's worst nightmare. He is a living, breathing, honest to goodness heartthrob who could give James Dean a run for his money. Watching him alternate between driving Julia crazy and.well, driving Julia crazy, is wonderful, hilarious, off the charts writing. Romantic comedy is at its best with GOOD GIRLS DO. Ms. Linz has got a fan in me and I sure hope that she keeps the great books coming.
