Hot Water by Kathryn Jordan

When you flirt with a fantasy, you risk falling in love.

Trapped in an unhappy marriage, a Minnesota housewife indulges in a weekend at a luxurious spa-and a man who'll bring her most intimate fantasies to life. Calling herself Julia Reeves, she hires a gorgeous man—whom she calls William—through the Internet, rents a red Lamborghini, splurges on some ultra-sexy lingerie, and escapes on her clandestine adventure.

The Hidden Springs spa is all that she imagined. "William" is much, much more. Her plan was to live out a fantasy and then return to reality. But a weekend may not be enough.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

A despondent middle-aged housewife rents a Lamborghini, checks into an exclusive spa and resort and hires a hot escort for the weekend. Will this excursion fill the void she feels in her life? The only way to find out is by reading the debut novel from Kathryn Jordan, HOT WATER. HOT WATER is a sensual and sexy contemporary story that delves into the erotic fantasy of one woman and what happens when she finds the courage and strength to go after what she wants out of her life.

She's calling herself "Julia Reeves" for the weekend—nobody has to know her real name, especially since she's done everything to cover up her tracks so her controlling and domineering husband won't know her plans. Julia needs to do this for herself. Her kids are grown and her marriage has lost all of its vigor; she needs to feel passion and to be in a man's arms. She needs sex—no holds barred, wild and passionate sex. "William", her hired escort, is going to give just what she needs and so much more.

"William"—Julia's name for him this weekend—is not your average escort. He is an intelligent and sensitive man. He aspires to finish his college education and become a philosopher. He's not happy about being in the escorting profession any longer, and by meeting Julia he realizes how he can be so much more.

What is wonderful about HOT WATER is that the sex scenes are sensually written and steamy without being too explicit. The connection between Julia and William is so intense, right from their first encounter, that you're drawn into their weekend together and the bond that grows between them. It's not only their lovemaking that quickly finds them attracted to each other, but their deep and thought provoking conversations.

HOT WATER, by Kathryn Jordan, is one of those books that is not only a sexy read, but also an intelligent read. I'm so impressed by Ms. Jordan that I'm looking forward to her future releases.
