I See You by Holly Lisle

For paramedic Dia Courvant, each day brings the possibility of facing blood and death. But nothing matched the horror of the day she was dispatched to the scene of a terrible car accident and rescued the sole survivor—only to find her own husband dead in the wreckage.

Now, four years later, a series of deadly car crashes has brought handsome detective Brig Hafferty into Dia's life. She's drawn to Brig, but can she trust him enough to tell him of the terror that stalks her? For Dia has received a message warning her of danger and death—a message that seems to have been sent to her from beyond the grave.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Holly Lisle's newest release, I SEE YOU, is a remarkably chilling story that will have you on the edge of your seat! Whether or not you're a fan of romantic suspense, you simply must read this book.

Dia Courvant is a top rated EMT. She's has just about come to terms with the death of her husband four years ago, and lives a fairly complacent life. All that is going to change when she realizes that she's being stalked. She doesn't know by whom or the reason behind it. However, after a death threat that was written on her bathroom mirror, she calls Detective Brig Hafferty to investigate the incident.

Brig Hafferty is recovering from a nasty divorce. Though he doesn't know it yet, he's about to become involved in a sinister case that could mean life or death for Dia. As his attraction for her increases, so does the terrible danger that they soon both become involved in.

I SEE YOU has an extremely intelligent plot with well-developed characters. The touch of paranormal that Lisle adds to the story only makes I SEE YOU even better. The romance between Dia and Brig is intense and the sex between them is explosive! As for the ending, it packs a huge twist that you won't even see coming. This is definitely one book that should be added to your to be read pile!
