Mysteria

Hunky werewolves, delicious demons and, drop-dead sexy witches all have the same address...

Hundreds of years ago, in the mountains of Colorado (just close enough to Denver for great shoe shopping), the small town of Mysteria was "accidentally" founded by a random act of demonic kindness. Over time, it has become a veritable magnet for the supernatural-a place where magic has quietly coexisted with the mundane world.

It's a town like any other town, where the high school's Fighting Fairies give fans something to cheer about, where everyone knows your name-if not exactly what you are-at the local bar, and where the wishing well actually lives up to its name. Strange occurrences happen every day, but now the ladies of Mysteria are about to unleash a tempest of seduction that will have tongues wagging for centuries to come...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

The anthology MYSTERIA is an entertaining book to enjoy on a hot summer's day. Set in a mystical town that exists to protect supernatural beings as well as regular humans, the four stories share the love lives of various inhabitants. Vampires, werewolves, witches, fairies, naiads and demons, all exist together in this very unusual place.

The authors have written about Mysteria in another anthology, and hopefully will collaborate again. I greatly enjoyed three of the stories. The other was shorter than the others and therefore not as fleshed out.

Mortal in Mysteria connects the new minister with the former demon who founded the town. Alone Wolf brings together a werewolf and a mial. In the Witches of Mysteria and the Dead Who Love Them, it's a witch and a vampire. Lastly, with Candy Cox and the Big Bad (Were) Wolf we have a human and another werewolf.

Mysteria the town is as sexy and seductive as the stories. Humor abounds as clever authors Davidson, Grant, Cast and Showalter stuff various supernatural creatures, some interesting, some evil, and some just plain annoying, into one small town. The authors hint at romances of elves and other creatures that beg to be written. I look forward to the next anthology!
