I always enjoy reading Jennifer Mueller books. Not only are they well-written, but she writes with such authority on the history she's reviewing that it's really a quite a treat.

Though this is a contemporary novel it has a historical feel to it. Like her other books, HISTORY LESSONS is set in a Scottish castle, hence the historic feel. (You can't run amok in a castle without thinking about all the tapestries and the dungeons of bygone years.) I especially loved the hero, this time around. Hunter has a great opening scene that makes you fall for him immediately.
