RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:
THE SECRET LIFE OF BECKY MILLER is the most monotonous book I've read this year—sorry, Ms. Hinck. I like books that take me away into a land of adventure, romance, and tumultuous emotions. This story is all about poorly behaved children and washing machines on the fritz. In other words, it's like my life. I live it. I don't want to read about it. True, Becky Miller has this secret story going on in her head, but I never could get interested in it because it sounded like a Lara Croft adventure. So, pardon me, but I don't recommend this one.
