This time the focus is on Helen Sweeney, the local bad-luck, poor choices fisherwoman who finds herself abandoned and pregnant just as the son of a billionaire enters town. Ethan Anderson is yearning to find his own identity. He comes from a family full of tragedy, the extent of which he isn't fully aware. He finds himself settling into Heron Point all too easily, even though he's still holding onto the remnants of his past. For instance, he holds dear the notion that he doesn't want children because of his overprotected life. For him, a pregnant girlfriend is going to cause reevaluation of everything he believes about himself.
