British Bad Boys by Nancy Warren

George and the Dragon Lady

George Hartley is high on the list of England’s most eligible bachelors: he’s young, single, gorgeous—and, as the 19th Earl of Ponsford, lives in a castle. Granted, the castle has seen better days . . . but nights with the Earl are what LA TV producer Maxine Larraby keeps thinking about . . .

Nights Round Arthur’s Table

Seattle thriller author Meg Stanton desperately needs a quiet place to work. Stag Cottage in the English countryside is perfect . . . until she meets local pub owner Arthur Denby. He’s as dark and brooding as one of her imaginary villains, and Meg always falls for her villains. But there’s nothing imaginary about the things Arthur does to her after last call . . .

Union Jack

Former head chef and current love cynic Rachel Larraby can’t believe she got dragged across the pond for a catering job. Weddings—ugh, she’s had enough personal experience, thanks. And though recurring best man Jack Flynt is quite smashing, she can keep it to just a steamy fling. Until this very bad bloke starts looking at her with those forever eyes . . .

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I'm a big fan of Brava's BAD BOYS series. I just love Nancy Warren's BRITISH BAD BOYS! This anthology is filled with charming and oh-so-sexy British men who know how to charm a woman and make her weak at the knees.

My favorite story is the first one, called George and the Dragon Lady. George is the heir and the 19th Earl of Ponsford. He's young, sexy, single and he lives in a castle. I love him! He is more than happy to talk about the history of the castle and his family to beautiful American filmmaker, Maxine Larraby. George and Maxine quickly begin a very passionate affair that neither one anticipated. Now it's up to George to get this very independent and headstrong woman to become the Countess of Ponsford.

The next story in the BRITISH BAD BOYS anthology is Nights Round Arthur's Table. In this story we meet American suspense writer, Meg Stanton. She's renting a cottage in the English countryside to write her next book and also escape from a bad relationship. Lucky for her, there's sexy Irish pub owner Arthur Denby to make her forget her troubles!

The last story is called Union Jack. In Union Jack, we are introduced to down-on-her-luck Rachel Larraby—Maxine's sister. Maxine convinces Rachel to come to the castle for a vacation. Max has other ideas for her sister, and that includes getting her to get her life back in order. Jack Flynt is going to help her in more ways than one!

What was great about BRITISH BAD BOYS is that Maxine and George make appearances throughout all three stories and their story is nicely wrapped up in Union Jack. Also, all three stories are nicely intertwined and many times I thought I was reading just one book, not an anthology.

I loved Nancy Warren's BRITISH BAD BOYS! I'm sure you will, too.
