This was my very first book by Rebecca York, and I have to say, I am very impressed. Brilliantly written with great storylines and tons of romance, these two books are exactly what I was hoping they would be. In Witching Moon, park ranger Adam Marshall has got his work cut out for him. The last guy to be ranger at his park had been killed, the natives in the area are restless—to say the least—and he has a beautiful biologist in his park that is just plain mucking up his thinking. To top it all off, someone wants him dead, and he is not sure the how or the why, but he has to find out—and soon—before he ends up like the last ranger. Sara is beautiful and spunky, and completely enthralled with Adam from the get go—as was I. She is afraid that the park is bringing out things in her that she would like to stay hidden, but her safety, the one man she can feel safe with, is not what he seems at all. Adam is a shape shifter, and I love shape shifters, especially wolves. They are entirely too hot for their own good. In Crimson Moon we meet Sam and Olivia. Sam is the walking epitome of hotness. He would make any sane woman alive drool, and as soon as he meets Olivia Woodlock he knows he is in trouble. He is on a mission, and that mission is to relieve Wilson Woodlock of some of his wealth, not fall for his daughter. Olivia is strong and beautiful from the moment she meets Sam. He makes her feel things that she completely doesn't want to feel. He makes her want to run, but at the same time she is inexplicably drawn to him. They face the danger that is coming at them head on together, and I loved that sense of teamwork that made their relationship all the more believable. Both books are phenomenal, but Crimson Moon is my favorite. Sam and Olivia's relationship is wonderful and brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. Ms. York is a gifted and talented author whose talent seems endless. MOON SWEPT rises above all of the expectations that I had for it, and has earned its place squarely on my keeper shelves.
