Just One Sip

With a twist...
A sunbathing vamp in Vegas? No way! Meredith Black is absolutely positive the tanned god with the gorgeous smile couldn’t have possibly made her his for eternity with just one glance. But he’ll sure have fun proving it.

On the rocks...
Battling a demon lord is all in a day’s work for the Dark One named Sebastian. But now he must take on a horde of unhappy zombies and an obnoxious, know-it-all teen vampire if he wants to win the hand of the one woman who can make him whole.

Straight up...
Talk show host Lucy Campbell has made a career of interviewing Druid witches, trolls, and an occasional goblin. But now she wants more. Only she wasn’t expecting to get involved with a vampire detective who has a slight incubus problem.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Contemporary paranormal fans ought to love the campy anthology read, JUST ONE SIP. Comprised of three funny, clever, and zany stories involving many different creatures (my personal favorite are the zombies who are campaigning to be called the more politically correct term of "Revenant") and several different themes, makes me smile and sometimes chuckle out loud.

Lighthearted and nicely done, this is one of the rare anthologies made up of stories that are not too short to be fully appreciated. I am pleasantly surprised at how well the authors are able to put together everything I need to make the book flow and be whole. A lot of anthologies are choppy with forced endings due to page constraints. Thankfully, this isn't one of them.

An exception to my "Not so fond of anthologies" rule, JUST ONE SIP is drinkable.
