LuAnn McLane writes the kinds of books that I love to read. With her newest release, LOVE, LUST AND PIXIE DUST, McLane writes a contemporary romance sprinkled with a bit of paranormal and smothered in hot sex! One of my favorite combinations.

LOVE, LUST AND PIXIE DUST is a combination of three intertwined sexy romances. Each story centers around one couple and how they fall in love. Luckily for the reader, the characters are related in each separate story. This book easily could have been just one consecutive story, but dividing it gave it that special touch.

The first story is called Crazy, and happens to be my favorite one from this book. It tells the story of how one crazy psychic from Brooklyn ends up falling head over heals in love with a southern country singer.

Honky Tonk Angel is the next story. This follows the story of Sophie, a psychic medium who happens to attract the attention of the hot local bar owner.

The last story is called Walkin' After Midnight. This story nicely wraps up LOVE, LUST AND PIXIE DUST. It's the story of an up and coming country singer and the man who's about to physically and emotionally change her life.

What I love so much about McLane's books is that although there is no major earth shattering and life threatening events taking place in the stories, there is beautiful romances, extremely likable characters and lots of way hot sex!

LOVE, LUST AND PIXIE DUST is no different. I really loved how down to earth and really likable all the characters are in this book. Again, there's that one character that stands out, and for me it was "Pixie". When you read this book you'll understand what I mean. Not only are the characters well written, but also their relationships are real and the love they find is everlasting. I can't forget to mention the sex. McLane can really write some hot love scenes!
