SOMETHING SINFUL Author: Suzanne Enoch ISBN: 0060842555 9/2006 HISTORICAL Publisher: AVON
Suzanne Enoch did it again. She wrote another witty and romantic book that I couldn't put down. Here is an author who knows how to put together humor, scandal and sex and write one fantastic book. I haven't read a single book by Suzanne Enoch that I haven't loved, and I'm including her newest release, SOMETHING SINFUL to my list! Turn off the television, disconnect the phone, disable your doorbell and pick up Suzanne Enoch's SOMETHING SINFUL. Trust me, you will not want to be bothered with anything once you start reading it! In SOMETHING SINFUL, we are reunited with the esteemed Griffin family. Now it is Charlemagne (Shay) Griffin's turn to find romance and love. How can any lady resist his good looks and charm? This time it was neither that attracted Lady Sarala Carlisle. It was his keen business sense and his mistake of telling her of a business deal that involves buying high quality silks. Sarala is no dimwitted debutante, especially since she just purchased those same silks from right under his nose! This is when all the fun starts. Shay is determined to buy back those silks, and in doing so, get to know Sarala better. Sarala is determined to sell the silks to help her family's financial situation. Neither expects that the silk is harboring a very dangerous secret. A secret that involves sword wielding Chinese soldiers! Ms. Enoch has a true talent for creating the perfect hero and heroine. Sarala has just returned from living with her family in Delhi and she has adapted the appearance and mannerisms of a foreigner. Shay is just the epitome of the romance hero—tall, dark, handsome and extremely talented in the bedroom. When the two of them get together, the atmosphere is filled with sexual tension. Let's not forget the rest of the Griffin clan. Eleanor and Valentine have a surprise for everyone! Zachary and Caroline are happily married and Sebastian is still the stoic head of the household. I really hope that Ms. Enoch writes Sebastian's story in the future. I would love to see him find the same happiness that his brothers and sister have. I'm incredibly happy to have been able to review Suzanne Enoch's SOMETHING SINFUL. Although I may be a bit partial to her writing, I will guarantee that you will love this book as much as I did!
