Blood Seduction by J.M. Jeffries

The Vampire Nation goes to war with the United States Military. Caught in the crossfire is Major Ursula Carlson, whose attempt to change the military's perspective on the use of vampires in military operations is largely ignored. Since the military feels they can't trust vampires, they intend to destroy them. Denied a promotion to head an elite force, Ursula is on the run for attempting to stop the slaughter. Solomon and a handful of vampires, along with Ursula, are the only ones standing between the human race and the vampire nation.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

Enter the world of J.M. Jeffries and get ready to be seduced.

Jeffries—the wild, crazy writing duo of Mariam Pace and Jacqueline Hamilton—once again gives readers a kick-ass heroine, a strong, silent-type hero, an intriguing storyline, plenty of action, gobs of sexual tension and loads of laughs. BLOOD SEDUCTION, the latest installment of Jeffries' military/vampire romance series, rocks.

Major Ursula Carlson is a terrific character who jeopardizes her beloved military career to do what is right. Jeffries gives Ursula plenty of time with the honorable vampire, Solomon (another great character), as the two team up to try to save the Vampire Nation from mass destruction. These two characters are written with depth and compassion. Their romance provides a nice balance to the edgy suspense. While Ursula and Solomon are the focal point of BLOOD SEDUCTION, this riveting story is peppered with interesting, unique secondary characters, some hopefully waiting for their own starring roles.

Although BLOOD SEDUCTION is the second in the series, it stands alone nicely. The dangling ending gives readers enough of a teaser to want more of this fascinating series.

BLOOD SEDUCTION is a sensual, tempting treat—and visiting J.M. Jeffries' website is an added treat.
