Force of Nature by Robin Miller

Markey Nevell was born with the unique gift of manipulating the air. A gift she would gladly give up for the chance at a normal life. Anger management is a concept Markey lives with every day. He never counted on falling for her beauty and wit, or her charming innocence. After delivering her to the doctor who hired him, Trip's world spirals out of control. He discovers he's delivered Markey into the hands of a mad scientist who plans on dissecting her for his own twisted gain.

Saving her life is just part of the battle ahead. Will she forgive his betrayal, or will she once again disappear into the world?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: 4 Rose Read

FORCE OF NATURE is the title of the paranormal romance penned by author Robin Leigh Miller. Although at times I felt like I was reading a comic book of the X-Men, FORCE OF NATURE kept my interest and ended up delivering a very sexy story.

Miller created a really interesting heroine with a rather unique "gift". Marky Neville has the power to control the air, and when she becomes mad, all hell breaks loose! Unfortunately, this has created a void in her life since she has no one to turn to and love. After an incident at a nightclub with some friends, Marky is again fleeing from the life she created and must try to make a new one.

Trip Lindaur is on a mission. However, this mission is going to change his life. He doesn't expect to become smitten with Marky; he is just supposed to convince her to meet with a scientist about her "gift". When things go wrong with the meeting, he realizes just how much Marky means to him.

Although Trip deceived Marky at first, there's no doubt that he's in love with her, which is a really good thing for Marky since she's never experienced love and lovemaking with a man. Their relationship is very tender, and that turned out to be my favorite part of this story.

I enjoyed reading Robin Leigh Miller's FORCE OF NATURE. The plot was unique, the characters were strong, and their romance was sweet yet very sensual at times. All in all, a very good read!
