Method Man by Naomi Neale

Becca Egan was quickly working her way up the Yes Ladder when A. J. Daye rescued her from a "git, it, hit it, and forgit it" lounge lizard. As a pro pickup artist, A. J. knew all the lingo. He even offered to teach Becca more secrets of The Method—a system to woo women from the bar to the bedroom in less time than it takes to say "strawberry-kiwi daiquiri."

Soon Becca is acting as A. J.'s wingman—partying in Manhattan's most exclusive clubs, rubbing elbows with celebrities, and quickly learning way more about men's dirty pickup techniques than she ever wanted to know. But when the game starts to dictate her life, she realizes it may be time to ditch The Method and start playing by her own rules.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Naomi Neale is back with another hit for all those chick-lit lovers out there! Her new release, METHOD MAN, is an ingenious look at the dating world through the eyes of the "player" and the one being "played". Truly an entertaining read from beginning to end.

AJ is going to show newly divorced Becca Egan the pick-up lines and plays that men will use to try to pick her up and get her into bed. It's lucky for Becca that AJ is going to help her, because she’s a train wreck waiting to happen. Becca will soon learn all there is to know about “players,” and also find out that the man to really make her happy is someone totally unexpected.

What I liked most about METHOD MAN is the engaging dialogue between the characters. It kept the story flowing smoothly, and quite frankly, I loved the humor and sarcasm the characters used when talking with each other. Neale shows off her writing ability with her strong characters and even stronger dialogue.

I must admit, though, that not all the characters in METHOD MAN are very likable. Even one of the main characters, AJ, is just annoying, and no matter what happens in the end of the book, he is still somewhat of a despicable character. I understand why he has to be, though, and so will you when you read METHOD MAN.

METHOD MAN is a funny, sometime aggravating journey into the high-class world of fancy nightclubs and smooth men, where only two types of people convene: the player and the played.

Readers of chick-lit are going to love Naomi Neale's METHOD MAN!
