RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I hadn't realized how much I miss ghost stories until I started reading Lisa Cach's new release, A BABE IN GHOSTLAND. What a great ghost story it was, too. Throw in a lot of sexual tension and some pretty spicy sex scenes, and who could ask for anything more? Not me. I had a great reading A BABE IN GHOSTLAND, and if you like a bit of supernatural mixed with a hot romance, you will too!

Remember that creepy old house at the top of the hill that you used to walk past on your way to and from school? You know the one, right? You and your friends used to make bets to see if anyone could spend the night in it. I'm sure there was an old man Johnston that used to live in the one by me. Well, Case Lambert just bought one of those creepy old houses and he's thinking that he just got more than what he bargained for. His tools have gone missing, he's hearing things and he could swear than one of the ghosts has a crush on him. He decides to look up Megan Lambert to help him figure out what's going on with his newly purchased, very old house.

Megan Barrows is done with those days of ghost hunting. She's quite happy working in her antique shop. All that's going to change when Case walks through the door and propositions her to tour the house, and then asks her out to dinner. What's worse is that Case is a skeptic, and she won't be the only one helping him out. Her ex-ghost hunting partner, Eric, is going to be at that old house, too.

It doesn't take long for Megan to know that there's something definitely wrong at Case's house once they've arrived. With the help of Eric, Megan and Case embark on a hundred year-old murder with creepy going-ons all around them. Not only are Megan and Case dealing with spooky ghosts, they're also dealing with an attraction for each other that is increasing with each moment that they are together!

Lisa Cach's A BABE IN GHOSTLAND is really an all around great read. I loved the ghost story plot! The romance was hot and the characters very likable. I have no problems recommending this book. It's a fun book that's a bit spooky and a whole lot sexy!
