DRAGON HEAT by Allyson James is a sexy, funny romantic romp. It is not for those who don't enjoy paranormals, though. Filled with magic, spells, dragons and the battle of good against evil, it is, for those who enjoy the genre, a truly mesmerizing read.

The characters are well-developed and endearing. The fact that Lisa has experienced the loss of her grandmother shortly before learning the same grandmother has left her a beautiful dragon in her spare bedroom, makes the grandmother's demise less sad. The discovery of Caleb, the dragon, also eases Lisa's loss and when the dragon, through the good graces of a witch, takes on a human form the burden is lessened even further. The chemistry between Caleb and Lisa is searing and the love scenes are wonderfully entertaining.
