Angela Verdenius is continuing her Heart and Souls series with HEART OF A PEACEKEEPER, the next chapter in this awesome saga. What a fantastic book! The action is non-stop and the sex is sizzling. It's a perfect combination of sci-fi fantasy and perfectly written by an author who excels at her craft.

HEART OF A PEACEKEEPER has the one element I look for in every book that I read—a strong heroine. Des couldn't be any stronger! She is the epitome of the kick-ass heroine and as leader of the Peacekeepers at the Outlaw Sector, she definitely knows how to take care of herself. She's brave, loyal, strong physically and emotionally, and yet underneath that tough as nails façade lies a sensuous and passionate woman.

Des finally meets her match when she encounters the Trader Simon. Simon is instantly attracted to Des, even though she stunned him with a laser and threw him in jail with the rest of his crew for brawling at a pub. He knows there's more to her than meets the eye, and he's willing to endure bodily harm just to get a chance to know her. Simon is a sexy and masculine hero who's not afraid to show his softer side.

It's not just the romance between Des and Simon that kept my interest; it was the action, as well. Never was there a dull moment between the pages of this book. There is just the right amount of action, drama and romance to keep the story flowing from one page to the next. While I'm on the topic of what kept my interest, I just have to say that Verdenius can certainly write some enticing sex scenes!

Fans of the sci-fi fantasy genre are absolutely going to love this book. Even those who don't normally read those types of stories are going to find themselves enthralled with HEART OF A PEACEKEEPER by Angela Verdenius.
