Love, Lies and a Double Shot of Deception

A WHOLE LATTE LOVIN'

Logan Crawford is gorgeous, charming, and his kisses make Emma feel like she's the only woman in the world. Oh, plus he's a billionaire. Not that Emma needs the money. As Philadelphia's most beloved heiress, she has it all: the grand estate, flashy sports car, high-society connections. But the haunted widow also has dark secrets, and someone out there doesn't want to let Emma forget her past quite so easily. Trouble is brewing darker than a double espresso for Emma and her newfound love. Now if only she can keep from getting burned...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

While billionaire playboy Logan Crawford enjoys his latest shallow one-night stand, he has no idea that his life is about to change. In a big town that feels like a small town Philadelphia, everyone in the upper class is interconnected to each other, and he's about to discover it isn't wise to toy with the women of Philly. Thankfully, he's realized it's time to grow up.

Emma Brockton Wadsworth is "The Princess of the Hill." Orphaned young, she made a terrible mistake when she married a much older playboy, bearing two children fast and losing her identity in the process. Then her husband died, but in such a manner that she's never been free of him. In fact, she might still be accused of murdering the sleazebag.

When Logan and Emma meet, it is love at first kiss, but Philly and its incestuous crowd isn't very interested in seeing them together. It's going to take more than a fresh large mocha latte to give them a shot at a future.

Winston has excellent powers of description. She expertly builds a sense of looming disaster as she gives us insight into the terrible cost of fame and inappropriate relationships, subjects that resonate with readers as we see the meltdown of today's celebrities.
