RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

Erin McCarthy has written a funny and clever tale with BLED DRY. While this can definitely be a stand alone book, if you've read the previous books you'll have a better understanding of the secondary characters and the reasons behind some their actions in this latest installment.

BLED DRY had me laughing out loud at times—while also evolving the story between Corbin and Brittany and the lengths some will go to for power. The soon-to-be parents take center stage in this story, but we also learn some new facts and a few major revelations come from those facts—but that's all I'll say about that. No spoilers here!

All in all, BLED DRY is a fun and entertaining read. If you liked the previous books in this series (HIGH STAKES and BIT THE JACKPOT) you will enjoy reading Corbin and Brittany's story.
