ONE NIGHT WITH A GODDESS is the second in a series of three about three minor muses, daughters of the Greek god Zeus. Zeus is trying to manage Mount Olympus using modern business practices and he is giving his many children performance reviews. Three of his less important muses aren't coming up to snuff and he gives each of them a year in which to redeem themselves. They have to inspire mortals based on their respective power and not fall in love with any mortal. This middle story is about Chloe, Muse of Happiness.

Chloe finds herself transported to Chicago and lucks into a job helping a sweet old lady manage Castleberry Hall, turning the venerable property into a premium wedding and meeting location. Her year goes quickly. She has lots of opportunity to bestow happiness and she's done lots of dallying but no falling in love. Then Matthew Castleberry comes onto the scene. He's the grandson of the owner, an exhausted doctor who has been working in Africa for two years. Can Chloe stop herself from falling in love before she loses a life of luxury among the gods?

ONE NIGHT WITH A GODDESS is an amusing romp. Though outwardly perfect and successful, Chloe has a lot to learn and Matthew is a good person who needs happier times. Enjoy your night with a goddess!
