Ooh la-la! Beverly Jenkins has cooked up a nice little story with this book. These characters are so sexy, so edgy, they had me reading on the edge of my seat.

JT is one of my favorite heroines ever! She embodies everything that a woman should be! She is tough, independent and has a take-no-prisoners attitude that certainly gets the attention of the opposite sex. She intimidates men and she likes it that way—keeping them at arms length is totally her thing. So when she hitches a ride with a gorgeous man who is not at all what he seems, she finds herself off-kilter by the way he can turn the tables on her and her independent nature.

Reese is, quite honestly, the sexy man of every woman's fantasies. He sees something that he wants and he goes after it, and all of the posturing in the world is not going to keep him away from JT Blake. When he picks her up on the side of the road, he has no idea what he has gotten himself into! The fireworks that erupt from this couple right from the very first meeting are awesome, and just keep getting better as the book progresses.

I just love Beverly Jenkin's books. If I had a library with just her books in it, I think I could be happy just re-reading them all day, everyday. Her characters take on a total life of their own and the storyline flows with no choppy dialogue or awkward moments, and that I especially love.

DEADLY SEXY is another for my keeper shelves! Beverly Jenkins just keeps getting better and better!
