Bad Girl by Maya Reynolds

Being bad can be so good. All it takes is the right man. By day, Sandy Davis is a dedicated social worker. By night, she's found an unlikely pastime: spying on her neighbors' erotic encounters. She tells herself that it's harmless, until one night she finds herself on the receiving end of such a fantasy—and an anonymous phone call from a peeping stranger who calls himself Justice, and whispers, "You've been a bad girl." The arousing predicament turns into a sensual dance between the adventurous pair. But when a third player enters their sexy game, the fun turns to something darker and more dangerous.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

So I keep trying. I picked BAD GIRL to review knowing it is erotic fiction and knowing that truly is not something I enjoy. But, someday, someone is going to write a good erotic novel with romance, love, and a decent plot and change my mind about it. I just know it! And in fairness to me, the summary on the back cover reads like there will be some suspense and romance in between all the dirty deeds. So, why not Maya Reynolds to change my opinion? Why not BAD GIRL? Why not, indeed.

Despite my hopes, this ain't the one. The plot is based on S & M, and so is the relationship between the hero and heroine. Actually, the relationship is based on phone sex, but that isn't the point. The point is, I think you can have erotic sex in a book but also write a decent story to go along with it. This one is just sex, sex, and more sex. Then more sex.

Well, in fairness to all the erotic authors out there, I doubt I will try this niche of books again. I need a connection outside of the bedroom (stairway, whatever) in order to like a book. Guess I am just old fashioned like that.
