Demon's Hunger by Eve Silver

The Compact of Sorcerers, a brotherhood sworn to protect the wall between the human and demon realms, is thrust into battle with an unseen evil that threatens to destroy them all...

Forensic anthropologist Vivien Cairn fears she's losing her mind. Her libido has kicked into overdrive, and she's blacking out, leaving hours of her life unaccounted for and no memory of where she's been or what she's done. But when a sexy stranger rescues her from a demon attack, Vivien realizes there's more than just her sanity at stake.

A seductive killer is luring victims, and Sorcerer Dain Hawkins finds himself walking a dangerous line between ancient duty and sizzling desire when the brotherhood--and Vivien herself--begins to suspect that her mysterious symptoms may connect her to the crimes. Can Dain save Vivien from the evil that threatens to claim her? Or will they both succumb to...

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

If I could give DEMON'S HUNGER more than a Top Pick read, if there was something bigger and better than that, then that would absolutely be what I would grade it! Eve Silver has written a sensuous and irresistible world around The Compact of Sorcerers, and I loved every minute of diving into it!

The chemistry between Dain and Vivien is explosive; literally had me holding my breath. Vivien is such a surprise, I totally didn't see where her character was going, and then when I got it, I was like, OMG, how did I not see that?!! She's strong and willful, but at the same time, understanding and so caring of what others are going through. I understood that she had to be written that way for her and Dain to have such a fabulous chemistry.

Dain has everything a woman dreams about in a man, and I just have to say that I LOVE his name! I totally pictured him as the tall, dark, handsome, brooding, bad boy. His character has such depth, and there is so much emotion surrounding him and everything he has gone through, I just could not help but fall totally in love with him. He is the type of guy that I read about and think that ABSOULTELY my heroine would be a goner without this man to protect her. He is strong and vital, and Eve Silver has written him to perfection.

DEMON'S HUNGER has certainly caused a hunger in me (pun intended!). As soon as I finished this book, I searched every online page I could find on Eve Silver and these drool-worthy Sorcerers. I believe I have found my new favorite series!
