Reckless by Saskia Walker

At the age of twenty-nine, London valuation expert Katrina Hammond is evolving into a stronger, more sexual woman. When she subsequently finds herself at the center of a struggle for power and dominance between two brothers, she welcomes the darkly erotic charge the situation brings.

Katrina's job is to value a collection of art objects for auction in the Catalonia villa of the Teodoro family, where Sergio Teodoro rules. Sergio is a dominant master who compels her attention. Nicolas, his younger brother—a disinherited artisan—also seeks her out. As Katrina uncovers the subterfuge surrounding the collection, she finds that there is more to Nicolas and Sergio’s battle than meets the eye, and more to her growing allegiances than may be good for her.

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

I will just get this out of the way so I can keep the hate mail to a minimum—Yes, I know I, as a reader/reviewer, prefer to not read stories that borderline on erotic/erotica, but somehow I ended up with RECKLESS to review, so I did put on my "objective hat" and read it for the storyline and character content. I did this while trying not cringe at the homosexual sex scene or the fact that the heroine can get excited with brothers. "Tried" being the operative word.

Anyway, I will just chalk this one up to being not for me. But, in all honesty, that feeling is more because I find the plot silly, and not because of anything crass or outrageous. The heroine is not exactly the smartest gal around, despite her occupation, and the hero, well, all he has is a nice Spanish accent and a penchant for drama.

So, "not for me" is the best rating I can give you on this one.
