Amy Burns is a Gypsy with a gift: she can name a person's One True Love. To keep her mystical power, she can never fall in love herself—a price she's more than willing to pay. Until she meets the sexy chef whose talents in the kitchen are only surpassed by his talents in the bedroom. But is any man worth giving up the only gift she's ever had? HUNGRY FOR MORE

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

HUNGRY FOR MORE is the third story in The One True Love trilogy. I've got to admit I haven't read either of the first two books (MAKE ME A MATCH and SEXIEST MAN ALIVE) but it hardly seems to matter. Make no mistake, I fully plan to pick up the first two books, but not because I couldn't follow the third. HUNGRY FOR MORE reads easily on its own, but it was so good I can't wait to see what happened to Amy in the first two books! Wonderfully witty, filled with so much heart and soul and fun dialogue it kept me grinning, HUNGRY FOR MORE left me... well, hungry for more.

The story of a woman who's been privy to matching people's soul mates courtesy of a voice inside her head—a voice that suddenly disappears. Amy knows she can't let that happen, let the spirit go completely, so she engages some very unusual help in getting her spirit groove back on track. The spirit quest doesn't come without a hitch, though, and in the end Amy must decide between love for herself—or for others.

Amy Burns is a great character, so filled with the desire to help others she nearly loses her own chance at happiness. The dialogue in this story is fast and funny, and there are more than a few moments where I swore I could hear Amy's spirit voice, too.

As an added bonus, every chapter begins with a quote. All are pertinent, and very funny. They set the tone for the chapter and are teasingly tempting. A wonderful plus.

Diana Holquist has a fresh, light-hearted style of storytelling that is both appealing and entertaining. My only disappointment with HUNGRY FOR MORE came when I realized it was over. I enjoyed it enough that I wanted it to go on and on!

And I don't want to give anything away, but Amy and Troy's ending kept me chuckling long after I'd closed this book. I loved it, and it fit the story perfectly.
