Final Justice by Fern Michaels

If You Want To Win, Get The Sisterhood On Your Side

The seven women of the Sisterhood—Myra, Annie, Kathryn, Alexis, Yoko, Nikki, and Isabelle—have risked everything in the name of justice, including their own freedom. Their most recent mission promised to reward them with a presidential pardon and a chance to leave their enforced exile. But before they can enjoy their prize, they’ll have to tackle a risky new mission in the heart of Sin City.

Myra and Annie’s childhood friend, Beatrice, needs a favor. Her estranged daughter, Marble Rose, has been enjoying a stroke of good luck at the casinos lately—the kind of luck that makes enemies of the most powerful people in Vegas. Those people want Marble Rose stopped, permanently. But as the Sisters investigate with the help of their ally and attorney, Lizzie Fox, they discover a web of corruption that will pit them against their most ruthless opponent yet. Armed with Alexis’s red bag of tricks, the ladies are about to put a daring plan in action. They’ve never failed before, but in Vegas, there are no sure bets—and this time, they’ll have to wager everything they hold dear…

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: 4 Rose Read

FINAL JUSTICE is a suspenseful story filled with gritty characters, scandalous situations and a no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners style of writing that will appeal to any fan of the genre. An installment in The Sisterhood Novels, this book brings home the fact that women, especially women with a common cause, can do anything.

Maggie Spritzer is a woman who has, for the past year, made some pretty drastic lifestyle changes in the hope that she will find reconciliation within herself regarding an old flame, their old habits and the reasons their love affair went sour. When Ted calls her with some confidential, but soon-to-break news, Maggie must choose whether or not to trust him—again. The chemistry between this couple sizzles, but their emotional baggage seems overwhelming. It was very interesting, although somewhat taxing, to watch them try to find a way back to some sense of normalcy.

Fern Michaels has an engaging voice that pulled me in to this web of intrigue and deceit right from the very first page. I was hooked, and, quite frankly, didn’t figure out exactly what was going on until very near the end. An excellent read!
