This pleasant little Desire title has one of the saddest titles and back blurbs I’ve ever seen. I mean, what woman wants “convenient” to be her main descriptor? And then there is the highly inaccurate line, “Yet just weeks after their roll in the hay, Stephanie Ryder was expecting his baby.” Ummm…really? It takes weeks after sex to get pregnant? I don’t think so. Apparently, “Bedding Before Wedding…Always Leads to Trouble” as the tagline says, is true in case of the back blurb author.

This story is the third and final title in the Montana Millionaires series and can be read as a standalone. The characters in the first two stories are important to this one, and a trilogy-long issue is resolved here.

Stephanie Ryder is twenty-two and operating her family’s stable as well as being a professional jumper. Alec Creighton is hired to examine the family company’s finances and try to fix their cash-draining problem, as well as hide said problem from Stephanie. Their attraction leads to a one-night stand, a forced marriage, and well…true love.

Other than a slight choppiness, it’s a fun read and good for a couple of hours of entertainment!
