A tale of families, feuds, and forgiveness, SUGAR CREEK begins in a swirl of flashing lights and doesn’t slow down, not even for a second. When Rachel is stopped for speeding by one of the Romo men, she can barely stand to speak to him. Her annoyance at being pulled back to her hometown and away from her high-power city job, coupled with the decades-old family grudge, makes her prickly, to say the least. But the unraveling of a love story and Mike’s irresistible charm soften her heart, opening up the big-city lady to experiencing some down-home romance.

Toni Blake never disappoints me. Her stories are rich and vivid, and her characters are dimensional. I enjoyed SUGAR CREEK from beginning to end, and look forward to reading the next installment in this charming series.  Well done!
