Treasure Me by Robyn DeHart
Graeme Langford, Duke of Rothmore, has always been torn between his beloved Scottish homeland and his duty to the English Crown. Yet his is truly an adventurer's soul-and he's determined to find a long-lost stone hidden near Loch Ness.

Bookish Vanessa Pembrooke heads to the Highlands to prove the existence of the legendary beast. Instead she finds the first man who has ever shared her hunger for adventure. Soon Graeme and Vanessa are fighting a dangerous battle as well as their own simmering attraction. As their passion grows, so does the danger. Ultimately, they must risk everything to keep the cursed stone out of a murderer's hands. But can they survive without losing the greatest treasure of all-their love?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

In Ms. DeHart’s third installment of The Men of Solomon's series, a secret group of treasure hunters—men of wealth and title who study and seek myths and legends—were invited on an adventure with Graeme Langford, Duke of Rothmore, who’s part Scottish, part English, and on a quest to find The Stone of Destiny, which, with the other four stones of the Loch Ness treasure, will complete the "Kingmaker".

Vanessa Pembroke is a long time lover of science and the study of bones. Upon discovering her younger sister with her fiancé two days before their wedding, she runs off to Scotland and starts a quest of her own. She aims to prove the Loch Ness legend true.

Traveling on her own, with no servant or a chaperone, it doesn’t take our heroine long to fall prey to some bad dudes. By coming to her rescue, Graeme ends up handfasted to her, and off we all go on an adventure full of danger, fun, and excitement.

The Raven, a dastardly villain from the previous two adventures, is back in search of the stone, but for entirely selfish reasons. In his demented mind, The Raven is working hard at using their family and friends in order to get to the stone first and complete his Loch Ness treasure collection.

Our fearless duo searches the caves and dodges gunshots, while getting trapped in a dynamite explosion. And through all that chaos and mayhem, we’re treated with a sweet and endearing love story. I found the plot unique and fast-paced, while the dialogue was fun and entertaining. I also liked the cameo of Queen Victoria.

TREASURE ME is an enjoyable and exciting Victorian-era, Indian Jones-style, fast-paced adventure full of romance and mystery. What a ‘blast’ to end this trilogy!

I recommend all three books, SEDUCE ME, DESIRE ME, and TREASURE ME, as they’re all filled with mystery, treasure hunts, and plenty of romance.
