Avenger's Angel by Heather Killough-Walden
When four female angels were created for the archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Azrael, a chaos spurned by jealousy erupted, and the archesses were secreted to Earth. The four favored archangels followed, prompting a search that has lasted millennia. But for Uriel, the former Archangel of vengeance, the search ends the moment he lays eyes on Eleanor Granger, his one true archess. Can he protect her from the danger lying in wait for her—and win her heart?

RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: Top Pick

Four archangels come to earth to search for their soul mates, four archesses, scattered somewhere in the world.  They knew not where, but were determined to find them before other forces seeking them found them first. The Guardian angel Max and the Old Man’s favored four roamed the world of today, undetected from the human world around them.  Gabriel, the messenger; Uriel, the angel of vengeance; Michael, the warrior; Azrael, the angel of death; all brothers in their quest. Uriel (Christopher Daniels) and Eleanor Granger are attracted to each other the moment their eyes touch.

AVENGER’S ANGEL, by Heather Killough-Walden, has opened my heart to a new and wonderful world of unique experiences and mysteries, magic, and mayhem. Though the plot leads us through harrowing danger, the reader knows the author will carry the day.  The characters are strong and easy to love or hate, as they were meant to be.  The exciting storyline never slows or shows an ebb of continuity, but keeps a constant pace of excitement and action throughout to the successful and satisfying end.

This novel is what is known as a keeper for sure.  I have read thousands of novels over the years, and AVENGER’S ANGEL is the first one that made me positively sure that this exciting story would hit the best seller’s lists across the country.  There is no doubt.
