This is the first book in the series about three men who formed a friendship and bond while fighting a war in Portugal. They’re known through the ton as Hellhounds, and Connor Linsley is the Irish Wolfhound, Gryffin Dwight’s a Deerhound, and Cameron Daggett’s a Bloodhound. The Society sees them as dangerous predators, and how could they not? Wolf’s Lair, a notorious gaming hell and brothel, which is owned by Connor, is their favorite place to hang out!

First up is Connor’s story in TOO WICKED TO WED.

Lady Alexa Hendrie is a bluestocking, and damn proud of it. She really doesn’t care much about society and loves the country life. Her brother’s troubles bring her to London, and in order to find and help him, she is forced to deal with his friend, the Earl of Killingworth, Irish Wolfhound to his friends and enemies alike.

Connor Lindsey, the Earl of Killingworth, has earned his moniker and is damn proud of it. A life well lived shows on the face and body of this brooding, sensual, and thoroughly decadent man. His reputation as a rake gives him leave to, thoroughly shocking society, and that is how this love story begins.

It takes only one kiss wagered for our hero and heroine to ignite something neither wants nor will admit to—passion for each other.

The story of these two very strong minded characters is fast paced, the dialogue sharp and utterly entertaining. Secondary characters are all as three-dimensional as the main ones, and the plot will have you second guessing everyone involved in the story.

This is my first Cara Elliott read, and although I have ALL of The Circle of Sin series, I have yet to read them. They have just moved to the top of my TBR! It’s time to make room on my keeper shelf for all those Hellhounds.
