I'm a sucker for alpha males and the hero in this book is just that. The story starts out on the day after Ronan and Lily's wedding day. After spending the night getting to know each other, *wink wink* Ronan wakes Lily up and tells her "I'm leaving." No reason why, just that he's leaving her. Four weeks later, she's trying to go on with her life and forget the marriage that never was, when her brother, Davey, shows up. Not soon after that her husband shows up too and she finds out the marriage was a setup. Ronan was out for revenge against her brother and used her to get to him.

Except it didn't work out the way he planned...he couldn't get his wife out of his mind. Don't you just love it when the hero's plans get knocked off course? *G
